datasheet smd ? side view leds EAPL3810A6 11 copyright ? 2010, everlight all rights reserved. release date : 22.sep.2014. issue no: v1 issue no : dse-0012096 www.everlight.com precautions for use 1. over-current-proof customer must apply resistors fo r protection, otherwise slight voltage shift will cause big current change ( burn out will happen ). 2. storage 2.1 do not open moisture proo f bag before the products are read y to use. 2.2 before opening the package: the leds should be used within one year and kept at 30 or less and 70%rh or less. 2.3 after opening the package: w e recommend that the led should be soldered quickly (within 3 days). the soldering condition is 30 or less and 60%rh or less. if unused leds remain, it should be stored in moisture proof packages. 2.4 if the moisture absorbent mat erial (silica gel) has faded a way or the leds have exceed ed the storage time, baking treatment should be performed using the following conditions. b aking treatment: 605 for 24 hours. (one time only) 3. soldering condition 3.1 pb-free solder temperature profile . 3.2 reflow soldering should no t be done more than two times. 3.3 when soldering, do not put s tress on the leds during heatin g. 3.4 after soldering, do no t warp the circuit board. 4. soldering iron each terminal is to go to the ti p of soldering iron temperature less than 350 for 3 seconds within once in less than the soldering iron capacity 25w. leav e two seconds and more interva ls, and do soldering of each terminal. be careful because the damage of the product i s often started at the time of the hand solder. 120 sec. max. 1~5 c / sec. pre-heating 180~200c 60 sec. max. above 220c 260c. max. 10 sec. max. 1~5 c / sec.
