VideodatacanbeinputtotheANX9030invarious12bitor24bitinterfaceformats.Singleordualedgeclock latchingissupported.Pixelratesupto165MHzenablevideoformatssuchas1080pandWUXGA(1200x1920 at60Hz)withreducedblanking.HSYNCandVSYNCinputsareprovided,orembeddedsynccanbedetected whenusingITU.656format.ADEinputisalsoprovided,oraDEblankingperiodcanbegeneratedinternally basedonHSYNCtimingandregistersettings.Tocomplywiththe4:4:4RGBoutputbaselevelrequirementof HDMI,a4:2:2to4:4:4samplerateinterpolationfilterisincluded,aswellasaYCbCrtoRGBcolorspacecon verter;eitherITU.601orITU.709colormatrixcoefficientscanbeselected. AudiodatacanbeinputthroughtheserialS/PDIFinterfaceintheformatofIEC60958(uncompressedLPCM) orIEC61937(Dolby,DTS,etc.).Optionally,eightaudiochannelscanbeinputthroughthefourI2Sinterfaces,or sixchannelsofOneBitAudiothroughsix1bitaudiointerfaces.OneBitAudiosupportsDSD(DirectStream Digital)asusedbySuperAudioCD.Audiosampleratesfrom32to196kHzaresupported.Inconformance withtheHDMIstandard,theaudioclockratecanbeasynchronouswiththevideopixelclock.Timinginforma tion(NandCTSvalues)aresentinHDMIauxiliarypackets,alongwithaudioformatinformation,toallowthe HDMIreceivertoreconstructtheaudiosampletiming,dataformatandchannelization. TheANX9030includesoneHDMItransmitter(source)interfacewhichiscomprisedofthreeTMDSdatachan nelsandoneTMDSclockchannel.TheANX9030featuresAnalogix'advancedlowjitterclocksynthesisPLL architecturewithfirmwareconfigurableoutputswingandpreemphasisforeachTMDSchannel,allowingsig naloptimizationforlong(orlowerquality)cables. TheHDMIinterfacealsoincludestheDDC(DisplayDataChannel)interface,asrequiredfortheHDMIconnec tor,aswellastheHotPlugDetect(HPD)input. TheANX9030communicateswiththesystemhostmicrocontrollerthroughthededicatedhostI2Ccontrol interface.Thisenablesthedevicetoreportmediaandlinkstatus,andallowsdeviceconfigurationandpower management.TheI2CcontrolinterfaceisalsousedtoreadHDMIsinkEDIDdatareceivedthroughtheDDC link. TheHDCPencryptionenginecontainstheencryptionlogicforallHDMIdata(audio,video,andcontrol). HDCPencryptionandauthenticationisperformedautomaticallyfollowingdeviceinitialization. Prepro grammedHDCPkeysandKeySelectorVectors(KSV)arestoredinembeddedROMfortheencryption process.WhenusingtheANX9030,systemmanufacturersdonotneedtopurchasekeysetsfromtheDigi talContentLLC;thedistributionandsecurityoftheHDCPkeysarehandledbyAnalogix.
